I’ve been thinking a lot about networks lately. I read an article in Wired about the “ethernet sublayer,” which is the physical layer of the network. The article explains that the ethernet sublayer is responsible for communicating directly with the physical layer. I know it sounds a bit complicated, but this is what I’ve been thinking about as well.
If you have a network that consists of computers, routers, and computers communicating directly with each other, it is very likely that you can put a few routers between your computers and your internet. They can take care of routing the traffic to and from each other, and they can also act as switches so that the computers can communicate with each other. If all of this is true, then the ethernet sublayer is responsible for all of the communication that takes place between computers in your network.
For example, if you have a computer connected to the internet, you can connect another computer with the same internet connection, and this second computer can send and receive data to and from the first. This is very similar to how email works. But it can take multiple computers working together to make this happen.
It’s this layer of communication that allows your computer to communicate with other computers on your network. But it also allows computers on your network to communicate with other computers on other networks in order to exchange information.
One of the biggest problems with this layer of communication is that it can be used for all sorts of things. It can be used for spam, to spread viruses, or even to share files. Because of this, people have become very paranoid about it, because some types of data can be sent from the internet directly to your computer and not even show up on your screen, much less be able to be received into your system. This is a problem because it can have serious consequences.
